HOPE Qatar

This page will give you insight into our track record since our inauguration.  Our goals are clear, and our mission is genuine. Our cause is noble, and with your support, we can do much more.

· November 2005: Inauguration

· November 2005: Public seminar: Quality Education for children with special needs. Program held at the Ministry of Education auditorium in Doha Qatar. Seminar was followed by a cultural show by children of affiliated organizations.

· December 2005: Evaluation program at the Indian Cultural Centre premises for children with special needs. Over 30 children were evaluated.

· February 2006: Education program started. Details of various events are available in this website.

· June 2006: Ray of HOPE—Newsletter released by His Excellency the Ambassador of India to Qatar. First copy handed over to Mr. Nizar Kochery, Founding Member of HOPE.

· February 2007: Website launched by a student at HOPE in the presence of the Indian Ambassador and Founding/ Advisory Board Members, Staff and Students.

· February 2007: New Logo Launched by a student at HOPE in the presence of the Indian Ambassador and Founding/ Advisory Board Members, Staff and Students.

· February 2007: ‘Friends of HOPE’ Launched as a support organization enabling people from the society to participate in and support HOPE’s activities further.

· February 2007: Children from HOPE present a heart rendering performance in front of over 5000 strong audience at the ICC Republic Day Celebrations, drawing tremendous reviews of appreciation from the society.

· March 2007: First Annual Day Celebrated at a function at the Indian Cultural Centre. Dr. Saif Al Hajari, Vice Chairman of Qatar Foundation was the Guest of Honour. Ambassadors of various Asian countries attended.
